Product details
G-MOD : MCP79412 Real-Time Clock (RTC) Module
The G-MOD MCP79412 is a high-accuracy, battery-backed Real-Time Clock (RTC) module designed to provide reliable timekeeping in embedded systems, IoT devices, data loggers, and consumer electronics.
Built on Microchip’s MCP79412 IC, this module keeps track of seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, year, and leap year with leap-year correction through 2399. It features a backup battery input to maintain timekeeping during power loss and includes 64 bytes of SRAM and a unique 64-bit ID for system authentication or tracking.
