Product details
G-MOD WS2812B LED RING (COMPLETE with 37 RGB LED)
The WS2812B LED Ring is a high-density, concentric RGB LED module containing 37 individually addressable LEDs arranged in four rings. The outermost ring has 16 LEDs, followed by 12 LEDs, 8 LEDs, and a single center LED.
These rings can be controlled independently or chained together, allowing the entire module to function as one large LED ring.
This makes it an excellent choice for visual displays, creative lighting effects, interactive signage, wearables, clocks, progress indicators, and artistic installations.
Interface Definition
- DIN: Data input pin for serial LED control (connects to microcontroller data pin).
- DOUT: Data output pin for chaining additional WS2812B devices.
- VCC: Input power supply, 3.3v – 5V.
- GND: Power ground.
Example Connection with ESP32 / GLYPH Development Board
- DIN → GPIO2 (or any other supported data pin)
- VCC → 5V
- GND → GND
Multiple rings can be connected in series via DOUT → DIN chaining for larger LED displays.
